Dorf has been an avid inventor ever since he was a child, unfortunately not all of his inventions worked the way he intended often falling apart for no reason, overloading, spontaneously combusting and generally being hazardous to eveeyone within a ten foot radius. After his so called inventions caused his fourth workshop to burn down his local magister decided he must be a serial arsonist instead of the incompetant twat he appeared and shipped him off to the HMRC so that he could burn stuff to his hearts content without endangering his coworkers
